Provocative Hit Musical Continues to Push the Boundaries of Theater

Dark, intoxicating, 8-time Tony Award winning musical Cabaret has been provoking audiences for more than fifty years. Set in Berlin as the Nazi party begins its violent rise to power, Cabaret revolves around the burgeoning relationship between American author Cliff Bradshaw and the vibrant Sally Bowles, a cabaret performer at the seedy Kit Kat Klub. But as Germany is transformed by the turbulent events of history, the club serves as a backdrop for ribald musical exploration setting the tone for what lies ahead for Cliff, Sally, and the citizens of Berlin.

FACE COVERING UPDATE
Based upon recent changes to the COVID-19 guidance issued by the CDC and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the University has updated its requirements for wearing a face covering in indoor public settings.

Based on this new guidance as well as current COVID-19 community levels within the region, as of April 1, 2022, the University will no longer require wearing face coverings indoors.

The University values the personal choice of wearing a face covering and suggests that members of our community carefully consider the recommendations of the CDC and CDPH. Those who wish to continue to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status are free to do so without fear of retaliation..
Thank you for your continued support. Now, on with the show!
