^Post-performance talkbacks on April 22, 29 and May 6, 2023 - following the 2pm performances.

“Eddie Birdlace is a U.S. Marine on the eve of deployment to Vietnam - November 21, 1963. He and his fellow Marines partake in the dehumanizing ritual of “the Dogfight” where each man wagers on who can bring the ‘ugliest girl’ to a mock dance. Eddie’s bravado is shaken when the girl he chooses for the Dogfight, Rose Fenny, awakens his humanity and challenges him to see the world in a more empathetic, compassionate, and beautiful light. Can Eddie escape the shackles of toxic masculinity and emotional unintelligence that he was conditioned to accept, or is he destined to be destroyed by them?” Based on the 1991 film, “Dogfight” is the winner of the 2013 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical.

This production is emotionally, intellectually, and socially challenging. For complete information, please visit: Theatre.Fullerton.edu/Dogfight
