A loose adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, is a one-act play that explores the lives of two young homeless children on Christmas Eve. These children live in the area known as Skid Row in Los Angeles which has the largest homeless population in the United States.
In the Los Angeles area alone, there is an estimated homeless youth population of 50,000+.
This new play development and project is partially made possible through the support of the ReImagine: NewPlays in TYA and associated organization awarded to Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble (BOFLTE) production partner and resident artist of CSUF's Grand Central Arts Center in downtown Santa Ana.
